Terms & Conditions

These terms apply when you use this website, register for a class, or take part in any programme, workshop or coaching session with me.

01Agreeing to these terms

By using this website or submitting a registration form, you confirm that you have read, understood and accepted these terms. If you do not agree with them, please do not register for a class or programme.

If you are registering on behalf of a child, you confirm that you are their parent or legal guardian and that you accept these terms for them.

02What I offer

  • Yoga classes — foundation, intermediate, children's yoga, pranayama, and guided Kundalini practice, online and in person in Bengaluru.
  • Corporate wellness sessions, workshops and keynotes.
  • Learning & Development consulting and facilitation.
  • Coaching for professionals, leaders and individuals.

Class formats, timings and availability can change. Nothing on this website is a guaranteed offer of a place in any specific batch.

03Health, safety and your responsibility

This is the most important section on this page, so please read it carefully.

  • Yoga is a complementary wellness practice. It is not medical treatment, diagnosis or therapy, and it is not a substitute for advice from a qualified doctor.
  • You should consult a physician before starting any new physical practice, particularly if you are pregnant, recovering from surgery or injury, or managing a medical condition.
  • You must give complete and accurate health information when you register, and tell me about any change in your health before a session.
  • You are responsible for practising within your own limits. Stop if you feel pain, dizziness or distress, and tell me immediately.
  • Participation is voluntary, and you accept the ordinary risks that come with physical movement.

04Registration and eligibility

  • A place is confirmed only once I have your completed registration form and have replied to confirm it.
  • Children between 7 and 10 years of age may join the summer camp; details are shared early each summer.
  • Children aged 11 and above may join the regular beginner batch.
  • A parent or guardian must complete the registration for any participant under 18.
  • I may decline or end a registration where I believe a practice would not be safe or appropriate for the participant.

05Fees, bookings and cancellations

Fees, batch schedules, payment methods and cancellation or refund terms are confirmed directly with you before your programme begins, as they vary between class types, corporate engagements and coaching packages.

  • Please give as much notice as you can if you need to miss or reschedule a session.
  • If I need to cancel a session, I will offer a replacement session or an alternative arrangement.
  • Any refund terms agreed in writing for your specific programme take precedence over this page.

06Online sessions

For online classes, you are responsible for your own internet connection, device and practice space. Please make sure you have enough clear, safe floor area around you before class begins. Sessions may occasionally be delayed or interrupted by connectivity issues beyond either of our control.

07Respect and conduct

Classes are shared spaces, and everyone deserves to feel safe in them. I ask that you arrive on time, respect other participants, and follow the guidance given during a session. I reserve the right to end a participant's registration if their behaviour disrupts or endangers others.

Please do not record, photograph or livestream a session without permission.

08Intellectual property

The content of this website — text, photographs, class materials, sequences, handouts and the books excerpted here — belongs to me or is used with permission. You may read and share links to it freely, but please do not copy, republish or teach from my materials commercially without written permission.

Book titles, cover art and related material remain the property of their respective publishers.

09Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, I am not liable for any injury, loss or damage arising from your participation in a class or programme, where you have practised beyond your own limits, withheld or misstated health information, or ignored guidance given during a session.

Nothing in these terms limits liability for anything that cannot lawfully be excluded.

10Changes and governing law

I may update these terms from time to time; the date at the top of this page shows the current version. These terms are governed by the laws of India, and any dispute will be subject to the jurisdiction of the courts of Bengaluru, Karnataka.

11Contact me

If anything here is unclear, please ask before you register — I would much rather answer a question early.

Please note: these terms are a plain-language starting point covering how classes actually run. They are not legal advice. Please have them reviewed by a qualified professional — and confirm the fees, cancellation and refund wording in section 05 — before treating them as final.
