Mahagauri is Live on Amazon today

Back in 2017, when I first began writing Mahagauri, I couldn’t have imagined the journey it would take before finally reaching readers today. What started as an idea rooted in intention and faith had its own rhythm — pausing, evolving, waiting for the right moment to step into the world.

Between then and now, so much has changed — the world, the publishing landscape, and me as a writer. There were years of stillness during COVID, countless revisions, and stretches of time when it felt like the book might never make it to print. But in that waiting, I found movement of a different kind.

In the time Mahagauri took to come to life, I managed to write Rudrabaan, half of Part 2 of Rudrabaan, one mythology-based non-fiction, and Navapashanam. Each one taught me something new — about discipline, voice, surrender, and growth. It has been a deeply fulfilling journey. I’ve learned that every book helps me do a little better than the one before, and yet, there’s still so much more to learn about writing and storytelling.

Writing helps me use my voice — it lets me give shape to what I strongly believe in. My stories often stand at the cusp of science, rationale, magic, and spirituality — that mysterious space where miracles exist quietly and energy, connectedness, healing, and cleansing are as real as breath. It’s the space I love exploring most.

So, here’s to Mahagauri — finally finding her readers.

Here’s to more stories, more words, and more miracles waiting to be written.

A heartfelt thank you to Rupa Publications, Suhail Mathur of The Book Bakers Literary Agency, and all my readers who have embraced Rudrabaan and Navapashanam with so much love so far. Your faith keeps me going.

Wishing myself a very happy publication day!

And to everyone who’s ever waited for something they’ve poured their heart into — may today remind you that everything finds its time.
